Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS)

As part of the Singapore Government’s efforts to develop local talent for Singapore’s key economic and social sectors, the Government and local enterprises have launched the Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS) in 2012.

Boustead has been specially selected as one of 28 participating organisations in SgIS to offer scholarships to Singapore citizens.** As part of SgIS, Boustead will provide scholarships in the areas of:

Business Division	Function
Boustead Group and HQ	Accountancy and Finance
Industrial Real Estate Solutions	Civil Engineering
Water & Wasterwater Engineering	Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
Geo-Spatial Technology	Software Systems Development

Scholars can look forward to tailored career development programmes including:

Internship opportunities;
Management development programmes;
Personal and professional growth; and
Mentorship by senior leaders in the industry.

** The eligibility criteria for applicants are found below:

Application is open to Singapore citizens only;
Applicants should possess good GCE ‘A’ Level (at least 10 academic units), International Baccalaureate (IB), Polytechnic Diploma results or equivalent; and
SgIS is tenable for students pursuing undergraduate studies at National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
